Government officials say over one billion shillings has been set aside to upgrade the road to tarmac level, from Makutano Juu in Musoma District to Natta in the neighbouring Serengeti District. Construction of this road is on the CCM election manifesto," Mr Chandi who is also the Serengeti District CCM chairman says. The tarmac road will also help to enhance relationship between residents of Serengeti and Ngorongoro districts that is widely inhabited by the popular Tanzanian Maasai tribe. It will also enable residents of the two districts to sell fruits and vegetables to the classic tourist lodges located in the world famous park. "Construction of the road is a huge relief for us. There are many sights to see in the city and I would suggest at least two days to take them all in. I was with the tour group On the Go Tours during my visit to Jaipur as part of my Golden Triangle tour. In 1853 the Prince of Wales visited the city and to honor him the city painted all of the buildings pink a symbolic gesture of welcome. The original old city was meant to hold a few thousand people and now holds over 1 million while the entire city of Jaipur holds over 3.
