I've heard about the Museo de Textiles Andinos Bolivianos. A friend of mine visited that place while traveling to Bolivia.

Young People in Rossendale to Create Art for Helmshore Mills Textile Museum
This intensive activity, involving young people from a range of backgrounds, has led to the creation of three large-scale artworks to be displayed at Helmshore Mills Textile Museum between 7 October and 2 December 2011. Helmshore Mills Textile Museum. Two of these ambitious pieces will be displayed in outdoor spaces at the museum, thus ensuring free access 24/7. These sessions have enabled them to explore working with music and sound, light and projection, sculpture and design to interpret the rich textile heritage of Rossendale and Pennine Lancashire. The latest exhibition at London's Fashion and Textile Museum is entitled Sue Timney and the design of Timney-Fowler. Suspended above it are samples of furniture upholstered with Sue's textiles.
