Does anyone know how to get old wood veneer off of furniture?
I have an old chest that belonged to my mother. The wood veneer is bad, but the wood underneath is in great shape. How do I remove the veneer without damaging the good wood?

Older pieces were usually glued w/ hide or fish glue which will soften w/ heat & moisture.
