Senior home delivery food program, Meals on Wheels, needs help
That's where for the past three years the York County Senior Center's in-home meal delivery program comes in. The program is the area's largest of what is often called "meals on wheels. Faile, so good to see you," says George Cuventas, who sure means what he says. The Cuventases and a battalion of about 60 other volunteers pick up the meals at the senior center, then drive the meals to shut-ins, the frail, elderly and disabled. But she has to make it on a fixed income that is tiny, as politicians debate how much of that fixed income they want to cut and how much millionaires should pay in taxes. Some volunteers work a day or two. The wheels for Faile on this day belong to George and Jan Cuventas, two retirees themselves. In addition to moving my blog to the new theme, I moved my entire website to wordpress. I can see I now have to revisit my thinking on timing now that I have to remove her from danger very 3-4 minutes. I spent most of my art biz time on this project so the other items (that aren’t at deadline yet) will roll over to next month. I’ll be adding more content and doing the styling (I need a better font and colors) over the next few weeks. It’s not finished but it was enough to go live. Unstuck While not everything is a yes above, the big one is in bold. So if you are a subscriber , look for it on Wednesday this week. I also decided my studio newsletter will be sent out at a consistent time each month....
