is latex and textile paint combination for a backdrop for a play to be painted on cheesecloth safe?

We have a backdrop to paint for our play. Is it advisable to paint the cheesecloth with latex first then paint the textile paint on it advisable or is it more advisable to paint it with the textile paint at once?

The latex will just stabilise the cheesecloth and make it less likely to crack when it's rolled or folded.
It'll act like a size.
Textile paint is usually quite flexible anyway, so you probably dont need to put latex on.

New Yorker paints inaccurate picture of Surry County

Where we take issue with Mr. Packer is using Surry County and Mount Airy as the model community for his believes, and then painting an unflattering and inaccurate picture of the community. It would appear from the article that Mr. Packer did, in fact, visit the area. The writer, George Packer, is trying to show how there is a disconnect between the larger, more urban areas of America and the rural communities, that in the wake of Sept. But it also appears he talked with, or at least only included the remarks, of local folks who agreed with the preconceived premise of his article. We can’t argue with that premise, because we believe it largely to be true. 11 and two wars those small communities are being forgotten by Washington.

Building a Studio – Paint Color

I painted the walls and ceiling of the studio with this color and carried it throughout the house and painted all of my ceilings Mistaya white also. I always planned on painting it white but there are somewhere near a zillion whites to choose from. In a gallon of paint there are only something like 2 1/2 drops of color added to their pure white. So Many Whites Continuing on with my series on building a studio – today – paint color. I had stacks of white paint chips and spent a few weeks looking at them and asking other people what they did....

Both are made especially for fabrics, from lightweight silk to denim and leather. option=com_content&view=article&id=381:copy&catid=53:artist-of-the-month.

EXPLORATIONS with PAINT 1 – COLOR WHEEL

You can take this exercise further by adding white to each color to get a lighter hue, or “tint” and/or by adding black to each color to get a darker hue or “shade”.   Next, tertiary colors were mixed by adding more red, blue or yellow to each of the secondary colors, and these new colors were placed in their appropriate places on the color wheel.   I mixed red and yellow to make orange, red and blue to make violet, and blue and yellow to make green. My plan is to spend a good amount of time during the coming year exploring materials and techniques for using paint on fabric – and to document these studies in this blog. To begin understanding paint, it’s a good idea to make your own color wheel.   Mixing from the 3 primary colors can yield an infinite number of new colors, depending on how much of which color is added to your mixture.   My color wheel started with the 3 primary colors – scarlet #30, brilliant yellow #11 and blue #46 - placed approximately equidistant from each other....
