is latex and textile paint combination for a backdrop for a play to be painted on cheesecloth safe?
We have a backdrop to paint for our play. Is it advisable to paint the cheesecloth with latex first then paint the textile paint on it advisable or is it more advisable to paint it with the textile paint at once?
The latex will just stabilise the cheesecloth and make it less likely to crack when it's rolled or folded.
It'll act like a size.
Textile paint is usually quite flexible anyway, so you probably dont need to put latex on.

I always planned on painting it white but there are somewhere near a zillion whites to choose from. In a gallon of paint there are only something like 2 1/2 drops of color added to their pure white.
