If you really want to do it cheaply, you can bus to Poipet from Bangkok and take a taxi or bus from there to Siem Reap. The road from Poipet to Siem Reap has been vastly improved and is now a much easier drive than it used to be. What do you think. Answer by Gerald J There are no cheap flights from BKK to Siem Reap. I need to know the prices and if I can just buy them a few days before while I'm in Bangkok. Bangkok Airways controls that route and is very expensive for a flight that short. ) We will also be flying back to Bangkok....
